Tracy's Past Love

So many times, it happens too fast You change your passion for glory Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the pastYou must fight just to keep them alive It's the eye of the tiger, it's the thrill of the fight Rising up to the challenge of our rival And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night And he's watching us all in the eye of the tiger

Arizona Cliche

Over liquid tarmac wastelands of cactus and heat Down cobblestone alley ways of washing day sheets Up ghost prairie mountains of sunset and space Down the road a familiar face Across the wilderness Out further than the bush I will follow you ...Midnight Oil .

I Walk The Line

Like a bird on the wire, like a drunk in a midnight choir I have tried in my way to be free. Like a worm on a hook, like a knight from some old fashioned book I have saved all my ribbons for thee. If I, if I have been unkind, I hope that you can just let it go by. If I, if I have been untrue I hope you know it was never to you..... Johnny Cash....Leonard Cohen

Sweet Child O Mine

She's got eyes of the bluest skies As if they thought of rain I hate to look into those eyes And see an ounce of pain Her hair reminds me of a warm safe place Where as a child I'd hide And pray for the thunder And the rain To quietly pass me by......GNR

Get Away Bird

You've been elusive so far. But now I have you , forever mine.

If I clipped your wings it would not make you mind

Once upon most every morning I woke up to find her flying there Hummingbird was making blows of Blowing rings of purple in the air All the while I was trying to keep her there Now I’m man enough to need Man enough to always care Hummingbird Hummingbird That’s all I heard That’s my hummingbird Just because I said I didn’t want her Doesn’t mean I want her to go In fact, I quite depended on her But then I didn’t want her to know Now that’s she’s gone I know All the while I was trying to keep her there, ya Now man enough to need Man enough to always care Hummingbird Hummingbird That’s all I heard That’s my Hummingbird Hummingbird
John Mayer - Hummingbird Lyrics

Bug In The Soup

"Paper Wasps land on the surface of the water in order to drink and to collect water for use in construction of their papery nests. It's also possible that these colonial wasps use the water to help keep their nests cool. These wasps are covered in water-repelling wax and will not drown even if they are forcibly submerged by an annoyed swimmer. They will just float back up to the surface and fly away. These wasps are able to stand on the surface of the water due to their water-repellant coating, light weight, and the properties of the water's surface tension. As can be seen in the above photograph, these wasps cause the elastic surface of the water to bend but not break under their weight." Click to Enlarge

Dancing In The Rain

Dead Wood Moon

The Freedom of the Moon by Robert Frost
I've tried the new moon tilted in the air Above a hazy tree-and-farmhouse cluster As you might try a jewel in your hair.I've tried it fine with little breadth of luster, Alone, or in one ornament combining With one first-water start almost shining.I put it shining anywhere I please.By walking slowly on some evening later,I've pulled it from a crate of crooked trees,And brought it over glossy water, greater, And dropped it in, and seen the image wallow,The color run, all sorts of wonder follow.
Moon from above, words from the past, will this tree live to see another summer........

A Different View

Reflections in a pond. Do I really see myself or somebody I think that I am?
